David Boscarino passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, September 5, 2024, at Tranquility at Kennesaw Mountain. He was 54.
David was born on August 5, 1970, in Patterson, New Jersey to Sandra and Joseph Boscarino, Sr. After graduating high school and Kennesaw State University, David's care for others led him to pursue a career in the healthcare industry. He received his Bachelor of Science from the Medical College of Georgia in August of 2010, receiving the title of Master of Physician Assistant.
David excelled in emergency room medicine. His attention to detail and his empathy made a perfect fit in working with people who needed medical attention. He was a longstanding employee of Northside Hospital – Cherokee. He was greatly respected by his colleagues and was known and best described as being extremely thorough, and an excellent clinician and diagnostician. His care and compassion never went unnoticed. David went to the end of the world to ensure that his patients were taken care of, often calling them after they were released from the emergency room to check on their status and offer any further assistance. In most cases, he would just lend a listening ear, which was very impactful on many people.
David will be remembered as a loyal friend who was always there when he was needed.
David's memory will live on through those he loved most; his loving wife Joanne Frances Boscarino; mother, Sandra Majors; sisters, Karen Bohlin and Kathy Boscarino; stepmother, Carolyn Boscarino; half-brothers, Joseph Boscarino Jr., and Drew Boscarino; five nieces and one great-niece.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, October 18th at 11am at St, Michaels the Archangel in Woodstock with Father Larry Niese officiating. Immediately following the ceremony, a catered lunch will be served at the church.
The caring staff of Darby Funeral Home is honored to serve the Boscarino family.
