David Earl Darby, age 41 of Ball Ground, GA passed away Saturday April 13, 2013 at Fannin Regional Hospital. David was a recent graduate of Ogeechee Technical College where he received his associates degree in Mortuary Science. David had passed his national boards and state board test and was working on completing his apprenticeship with Darby Funeral Home. David was a local business owner and a part time employee of Darby Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday April 17, 2013 at 2 PM from the Sharp Mountain Baptist Church with Rev. Phillip Burt & Rev. Shannon Kelley officating. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday 11AM- 9PM. Survivors are his wife, Patty Austin Darby, Ball Ground, GA, Mother Ruth Darby, Ball Ground, GA, Sister and Brother-in-law, Becky & Lanny Wright, Waleska, GA, Father-in-law and Mother-in-law, Larry & Wanda Austin, Canton, GA, Sister-in-law, Karen Austin, Canton, GA, Niece and Nephew, Salena & Oliver Cox, Fairmount, GA and Jacob Wright, Waleska, GA.
