Mr. David Carl Greenfield, age 78 of Canton, GA passed peacefully on Saturday, March 1st, 2025 with his son Justin, present.
He was born January 3rd, 1947 in Columbus, IN to Wesley Joshua Greenfield and Lenore Charlene Greenfield.
He and his wife Linda married October 6th, 1972. They had 2 wonderful children. David served 3 full terms (years) in the Army during the Vietnam War before being Honorably discharged in April of 1970. He received an Associate in Arts from Alpena Community College and attended Christian Theological Seminary in Indianapolis, IN. In his free time he enjoyed painting, creating, planting and working the land outside. He enjoyed nurturing and watching plant life grow, and caring and keeping bonsai and garden plants thriving. He loved writing letters and sending them to those he loved. But above all, David loved God.
David is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Linda Greenfield of Canton, GA; children, Justin (Vicki) Greenfield of Kennesaw, GA and Jeremy (Ashley) Greenfield of Cumming, GA; sister, Diana Dumochelle of Williamsburg, MI; grandchildren Stella, Miles and Owen; and nephews Eric Greenfield and Todd Greenfield. He is preceded in death by his mother and father.
