David Massey Sr., age 67 of Canton, passed away Monday, June 8, 2015 at Embracing Hospice in Cumming. Memorial services will be held on Friday, June 12, 2015 at 2PM in the Marguerite McFather Chapel of Canton First United Methodist Church with Rev. Jim McRae officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 11 from 6PM-8PM at Darby Funeral Home. He is survived by his Wife, Catherine "Rene" Massey of Canton; Son, David (Christy) Massey Jr. of Ball Ground; Daughters, Donna ( Tommy) Joyner of Milton, GA and Carol (Jim) Kawa of Hawaii; Grandchildren, Alan Feind, Andy- Lynne Massey, Sara Massey, Brooks Joyner, Elijah Kawa and Eleni Kawa.
