DeLitha "Dee" Othella Smithwick, age 90 of Ball ground, passed away on June 15, 2018 at her residence. Visitation services will be held on Saturday, June 16, 2018 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM; and Sunday, June 17, 2018 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 18, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Orange United Methodist Church, with interment following in the church cemetery. Dr. Mark Outlaw and Rev. Geral Richards will officiate the service.
Mrs. Smithwick is survived by son Dwight & Leslie Smithwick of Ball Ground, Georgia; daughter Melba & Mark Bruce of Ball Ground, Georgia; daughter Rita & David Vice of Acworth, Georgia; daughter Sally & David Hyatt of Ball Ground, Georgia; six grandchildren: Trudy Smithwick, Deani Blalock, Travis Smithwick, Johnny Hyatt, Casey Hyatt, and Collin Bruce; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
