Derotha E. Bagwell, 91 of Canton, GA passed away Tuesday April, 17, 2012 at Wildwood Healthcare Center in Jasper.  She was preceded in death by her husband, C.G. Bagwell.  Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 pm Thursday April 19, from the Macedonia Baptist Church with Rev. Ivan Watkins and Rev. Joey Stewart officiating.  She will be laid to rest in Macedonia Memorial Park.  Derotha was a long time employee of Canton Textile Mills, Weaver Room, both as a weaver and doing training of new hires.  She was one of the last employees to leave at the closing of the Mill.  She is survived by Daughter & Son-in-law, Kathryn & Olin Holtzclaw of Macedonia Community, Son & Daughter-in-law, Marshall & Annelle of Jerusalem Community.  Brother, Lester (Mary) Watkins, Canton; Sisters, Dorothy Vaughn, Canton; Ruby Green, Cave Springs; Myrtle Richards, Canton; Marie (Russell) Johnson, Bowden; 7 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and long time friends.  The caring staff of Darby Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
