Diane Elizabeth Winkler, age 72 of Canton, GA passed away on Friday, April 14th after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Mrs. Winkler is survived by her daughters; Valerie Swartzbaugh of Canton, GA, Kelly Sassi of Chicago, IL, Kim Christopher of Crystal Lake, IL, son; Steven Svec of Murfreesboro, TN; sisters; Lynn Boyer of Crystal Lake, IL and Corinne Bartlett of Fox Lake, IL. She was a loving grandmother to Zachary Christopher, Mackenzie and Kaitlyn Swartzbaugh and Lorenzo Sassi. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lyle Winkler. A family Celebration of Life service to be held at a later date.
