Donald W. Botting, 72, formerly of Rochester and Lockport New York,
died suddenly at his home in Acworth, GA on August 21, 2012.

He was born in Niagara Falls, NY of Fenwick and Myrtle Botting. His brother Gordon Botting resides in Lockport, NY and sister Sheryn Salmeri lives Coconut Creek, Fla.

Donald is survived by his wife Mary Ellen (Mroz) Botting, formerly of Derby, NY, and two daughters Dawn Marie Botting of Rochester, NY and Heather Kelly of Rush, NY. He had three precious grandchildren, Hannah, Dillon and Zoe and various nieces and nephews. Don was a warm, caring, charismatic individual, loving to his wife, family, many
friends and colleagues.

He served in Air Force Intelligence as a Crypt Analyst in Germany for four years. His primary profession was as a Real Estate Broker and Mortgage Officer. He also managed Lancaster Speedway, New York
and various Mortage Companies for a few years. He was a homebuilder, Pilot, sailor, race car driver and Commercial Truck Deliverer. Boating, camping, tinkering with vehicles and adoring his five Scottish Terriers were activities he particularly enjoyed

A Memorial Service and Celebration of Life will be held at a future date.
