Donald Ray Eidson, 65, passed away on September 25, 2016 in Ellijay, Ga. Visitation will take place on Saturday, October 1, 2016 from 2-4 PM at Darby Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 4 PM in the chapel of Darby Funeral Home. Survivors include son Steve Eidson of Canton, GA; son Donald Ray Eidson Jr. of Chatsworth, GA; daughter Susan (Charles) Rains of Canton, GA; brother Jimmy (Elaine) Eidson of Canton, GA; brother Billy (Melba) Eidson of Tallahassee, FL; brother Ronnie Eidson of TN; brother Kenneth Eidson of Lovejoy, GA; sister Judy (Doug) Hembree of Jonesboro, GA; sister Rita (Dewey) Peoples of Riverdale, GA; 8 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by parents, Kenneth & Viola Eidson, daughter Kelly Marie Eidson, and sister Mary Jane. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your favorite charity in his name.
