Donigan Dean Towers Iii's Obituary
Donigan Dean Towers lll, age 75 of Canton passed away on Friday August 6th 2021 at Northside Hospital Cherokee surrounded by his loving family.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at 2:00PM at Canton First United Methodist Church. The service will live-streamed via the church website. You can watch the service at Cantonumc.online.church.
Private interment will be held at Georgia National Cemetery on August 16th 2021.
He was a loving husband, father and grandfather, a United States Marine and a Purple Heart Recipient. He was a member of Canton First United Methodist Church and served on many levels but his most passionate was leading and teaching the youth. He was a true friend to all, loved God, his church and his country. He was a true servant to the Lord and will leave a void that cannot be filled.
His survivors include: His wife Virginia (Ginny) Towers Canton, GA, son Donigan "D" Towers IV Canton, GA, daughter and son-in-law Terri and Todd Davis Canton, GA, sister and brother-in-law Lisa and Dudley Edwards Canton, GA, grandchildren Jacob Towers, Emme and Tripp Davis, several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the building fund at Canton First United Methodist Church.
The caring staff of Darby Funeral Home is honored to serve the Towers family.
