Doris Sue Cloud
February 18, 1939 – June 9, 2025

Doris Sue Cloud, 86, of Canton, Georgia, passed away peacefully on June 9, 2025. Born on February 18, 1939, in Forsyth County, Georgia, she was the beloved daughter of the late Mamie Collett Cloud and William Cloud.

A devoted mother, sister, grandmother, and friend, Doris lived a life marked by quiet strength, enduring faith, and unwavering love for her family. Her gentle spirit and kind heart touched all who knew her.

She is survived by her son, Tony (Fay) Cloud of Cartersville, Georgia; her brother, Leon Cloud of Canton, Georgia; two cherished grandchildren, Kellen (Todd) Martinak and Linda Davis; six great-grandchildren, Brandon Beardon, Anthony Davis, Kaitlin Davis, Michael Davis, Sarah Davis, and Gavin Davis; and one great-great-grandchild, Bellamy Davis.

Doris was preceded in death by her son, Gary Cloud; her sisters, Ursey Watkins, Winnie Brown, and Betty Darby; and her brothers, Robert Cloud and Gene Cloud.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, June 13, 2025, from the Chapel of Darby Funeral Home with Reverend Kent Samples officiating. Interment will follow at Cherokee Memorial Park. The family will receive friends for visitation from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Thursday, June 12, 2025, at Darby Funeral Home.

Doris's legacy of love and quiet grace will live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always.
