Dorothy Lacy's Obituary
Ms. Dorothy Lacy, age 82 of Tifton, passed away on Friday, April 29, 2022, at her residence. She was preceded in death by her father, John Caviness and mother and step father, Pearle Sims Caviness Stork and Earl Stork, and her half sister, Margaret Stork Fletcher.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 4, 2022, from 1:00PM to 2:00PM. Funeral services will follow immediately after the visitation at 2:00PM in the chapel of Darby Funeral Home. Father Jamie Stutler will officiate. Interment will follow at Cherokee Memorial Park.
Mrs. Lacy is survived by her loving husband, Grady Lacy; Sons, Michael (Carol) Morris of Holly Springs, and Scott (Carla) Morris of Carrollton; Step-son, Lonnie (Jay) Lacy of Tifton; and her brother, Jim(Betty) Caviness of Suwanee. 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Mrs. Lacy's memory to St. Clement Episcopal Church in Canton, Georgia.
The caring staff of Darby Funeral Home is honored to serve the Lacy family.
