Dorothy P. McFarland, 94, of Canton GA died on Monday May 6, 2019 at Heritage Hospice. Visitation will be held on Wednesday May 8, 2019 from 11AM until 1PM. A private burial will be held at a later time. Flowers are being accepted, but the family requests no food or other gifts.
She was preceded in death by her husband Herbert J. McFarland, her parents Preston and Victoria Kelley Bishop, and all of her brothers and sisters - Daisy Rollins, Dora Voyles, Viola Mason, Mitchell Bishop, Wade Bishop, Grace Mason, Aline Fowler, Henry Bishop, Tom Bishop, Bob Bishop and unnamed baby sister. She is survived by her son Jimmy L. McFarland, sisters-in-law Willie B. McFarland and Joyce Bishop, and several cousins, nieces and nephews. The caring staff of Darby Funeral Home is honored to serve the McFarland family.
