Obituary
Dorothy Marie Smith, 78 of Canton, passed away Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at her residence. Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday, December 22, 2024, at La Villa Banquets in Chicago, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her brothers, James T. and Charles Novy, and her granddaughter, Haley Buker. She is survived by:
Husband - Darrel Smith of Canton
Daughter - Eleanor (Luther) McIntyre of Bowling Green, KY.
Brother - Ronald H. Novy of Downers Grove, IL.
Grandchildren - Corey Richardson, Alexander Richardson, Ethan Poore, Victoria Poore, Ginger Renee Smith, Jeremy Smith, Jacob Smith, Daisy Johnson, Briceon Buker, and Bobby Nixon.
9 great-grandchildren also survive.
