Dorothy Lowry Sorrels, age 87 of Canton, passed away Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at the Gilmer Nursing Home in Ellijay, GA. Graveside services are scheduled for Monday, October 27, 2014 from the Westlawn Cemetery in Gretna, LA. She is survived by her Son, James Sorrels of Canton, GA; Daughter, Bonnie Russman of Charlotesville, VA; Brother, J.W. Lowry of Carriere of MS; Sister, Margie Toney of Port-Sulphur, LA; also surviving are 3 Grandchildren. Mothe's Funeral Home in Louisiana will make the final arrangements. The caring staff of Darby Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
