Eddie Light, 62 of Canton, died Tuesday, October 20, 2009 at Northside Hospital Cherokee, Canton, Ga .
He is survived by Sonya Griffith (daughter) of Canton, GA, Tonya L. Light (daughter) of Canton, GA, Christopher Light (son) of Chardon, OH, Friend & Angel , Robert Bavis , Canton, GA , Paul Light (brother) of Montville, OH, Gary Light (brother) of Chardon, OH, Mike Light (brother) of Youngstown, OH, William Light Jr. (brother) of Windsor, OH, Breanna Light (granddaughter) , Brittany Light (granddaughter) , Megan Light (granddaughter) , Matthew Light (grandson) , and Joshua Griffith (grandson) , Jason Griffith (grandson). He served in the Army during Vietnam Era. enlisted on October 3, 1966 discharged on July 6, 1968 He was and Agent Orange Victim . He retired from General Motors and was a member of the Word of Life Church in, Canton, GA.

Visitation will be held at on Thursday Oct 29, 2009 from 6 PM - 8 PM Darby Huey Funeral Home Funeral services will be held October 30, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton. Burial will be at Georgia National Cemetery on Friday, October 30, 2009.
