Edgar "Warren" Stephens, 72 of Canton, GA., passed into Heaven on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at Northside Hospital Cherokee.
Warren was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar B. Stephens and Sarah B. Stephens, as well as his brother, Timothy "Tim" Stephens, and his sister, Rena Hardy.
He is survived by his wife, Lisa Stephens of Canton, GA., his daughter, Jessica Sanderson of Somers, CT., his son, Zachary and wife Alaina, and grandchildren, Luca and Loic Stephens of Thousand Oaks, CA. Warren is also survived by his sisters, Carol Stephens, Sheila (Jimmy) Thomas, Beverly (David) Gates, and Janice Stephens, as well as a host of nephews and nieces.
Warren loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He also loved his country serving in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam conflict. After serving in the Marine Corps, Warren was employed in sales. He later became self-employed and eventually retired.
His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friend who will mourn his passing.
The family will receive friends at Darby Funeral Home on Friday, January 3rd from 10am-12pm. The service will follow at 12pm in the chapel of Darby Funeral Home with Pastor Jeffrey Clark officiating. Interment will follow at Georgia National Cemetery at 2pm.
