Edward James Droege, 66, of Woodstock, GA passed away Saturday July 21, 2012 at his residence. At his request, no service will be held.

Mr. Droege was born on February 15, 1946 in Lakewood, Ohio to Edward and Mildred Droege. He earned a Masters of Fine Arts from Bowling Green University. Early in his career he was Lead Instructor at Norton Museum of Art, owned A Round A Square Art Gallery in Canton, GA and was self employed as an independent artist at the time of his death.

He was preceded in death by life partner, Virginia Pion. Survivors include aunt, Dorothy Gillberg and cousins in River Rock, OH; Close friends from the Atlanta area, Drew and Sheila Kopp, Jeanette Coggins, Brandon and Jane O'Connor.
