Edwin Smith Lummus of 7601 E. Cherokee Dr. Canton, GA made his transition May 10, 2013 at 7:25am. Edwin is survived by his wife, Alta; his son Tony, his wife Becky; his son Ted and his partner Todd. He is also survived by his sisters, Laurann Cantrell and Jerry Lynn Hogan and their spouses, Eddie Lovett and Mayes Hogan respectively. Services will be held Sunday May 12 at 3:00pm from the Macedonia Baptist Church with Rev. Vernie Worley and Gary Coffey officiating. Interment will follow in the Macedonia Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Friday from 6:00-9:00pm and Saturday from 10:00am- 9:00pm at Darby Funeral Home. The caring staff of Darby Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
