Elbert Hendrix, 91 of Woodstock, GA passed away Monday March 18, 2013 at his residence. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00am Wednesday March 20, from Shiloh Hills Baptist Church, 75 Hawkins Store Rd, Kennesaw, GA 30144 with Rev. Victor Bledsoe officiating. Interment will follow in the Cherokee Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 9:30am -10:30am at Shiloh Hills Baptist Church. Survivors include Wife, Betty Hendrix, Woodstock, GA; Daughter & Son-in-law, Myra & Melvin Hunt, Douglasville, GA; Brother, Max Hendrix, Memphis, TN; Sister, Laura Hendrix, German Town, TN; grandchildren, Jessie Acuff, Marietta, GA; Jennifer & Blake Schnorf, Marietta, GA; great grandchild, Chloe Hill, Marietta, GA. Mr. Hendrix was an Army Veteran, served in WWII and a member of Shiloh Hills Baptist Church. The caring staff of Darby Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
