Elizabeth Marie Cochrane, 90, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 23, 2013. A much-loved resident of Cameron Hall assisted living facility in Canton, she is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Joanne Cochrane of Dawsonville; daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Barry Green of Canton; and daughter and son-in-law, Gail and Harry Buffkin of Sebring, Fla., as well as 10 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Mrs. Cochrane was happily married for 60 years to William Robert Cochrane, who passed away in June of 2002 at the age of 80. A devout woman of faith and longtime member of the Catholic Church, she was a cherished wife, mother, grandmother and friend. A small service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 26, at Darby Funeral Home in Canton. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to either The Alzheimer's Association or the Hospice Foundation of America.
