Elizabeth Cecelia Simon's Obituary
Ms. Elizabeth "Betty" F. Simon, age 92, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours on August 3, 2019.
She was an elementary school teacher and received her Master's Degree from the University of Georgia. She also retired from the Internal Revenue Service after many years of faithful service.
Visitation will take place on Sunday, August 11, 2019 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Darby Funeral Home. A graveside service will take place at 11:00 AM on Monday, August 12, 2019 at Cherokee Memorial Park. Pastor Bill Avery will officiate the service.
Ms. Simon is survived by son John M. & Barbara Simon of North Glen, CO; daughter Joanna & Ron Underwood of Canton, GA; daughter Kathleen C. Simon of Canton, GA; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl J. Simon and her son, Carl Jr.
