Elmer A. Lingefelt, age 92 of Canton, passed away on Sunday, December 31, 2017 at Season's Hospice in Cumming. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 2, 2017 from 3:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. at Darby Funeral Home. The funeral will take place on Wednesday, January 3, 2017 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Darby Funeral Home. Rev. Ken Parker, Rev. Charles Davis, and Rev. Doug Mulkey will officiate the service. Interment will follow at Cherokee Memorial Park.
Mr. Lingefelt was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Pauline Bobo Lingefelt.

Nine great-grandchildren also survive.
Through his marriage to Martha Jo he gained 4 Children, 13 Grandchildren and 21 Great grandchildren
