Evelyn Abernathy Gaddis, age 90 of Waleska, GA passed away peacefully at her home Thursday September 4, 2014. Funeral Services are scheduled for 1:00PM Monday September 8, 2014 from the Chapel of Darby Funeral Home. Visitation will be Monday September 8, 2014 from 10:00AM until the funeral hour. Interment will follow at Green Lawn Cemetery in Roswell, GA. She is survived by her daughter; Pamela Jane Gaddis, Waleska, GA, son; Barry Lee Gaddis, Waleska, GA, 3 grand children; Cory Thomas Gaddis, Derek Lee Gaddis, Mikki Burnett, 2reat grand children; Ben Burnett and Nathan Burnett. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Cherokee County Humane Society or Pet Buddies Food Pantry. The caring staff o Darby Funeral Home is in charge of these arrangements.
