Faye Forrester, age 88 of Canton, GA passed away on January 1, 2016 at Canton Nursing Center. Visitation will take place on Sunday, January 3, 2016 from 1pm-8pm, and on Monday, January 4, 2016 from 11am-3pm at Darby Funeral Home. The funeral service will take place on Monday, January 4, 2016 at 3pm in the Chapel of Darby Funeral Home, with Reverend Wayne Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Cherokee Memorial Park. Mrs. Forrester is survived by son, Dana Forrester or Canton, GA, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by husband Comalee Forrester and son Lee Forrester. Darby Funeral Home will be accepting flowers, or donations may be made to Hickory Flat United Methodist Church. These arrangements have been entrusted to Darby Funeral Home.
