Frances Ann Dalton, age 79, of Canton, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, November 9, 2025. She was born in Ravenna, Ohio on July 28, 1946, a beloved daughter of the late Vincent and Grace Maimone.

Frances devoted much of her life to family and her community, cherishing the memories made in Ohio and Georgia alike. She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Dalton, and her son, Scott Hardy.

She is survived by her children: Noel Hardy of Warren, Ohio; Tracey Boltres of Woodstock, Georgia; and Kimberly Lynn Dalton of Canton, Georgia. She also leaves behind five grandchildren, one great-grandchild and one great-great-grandchild who brought her immeasurable joy and whose lives she helped shape.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday, November 20, 2025, from 1:00pm to 2:00pm at Darby Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will follow at 2:00pm in the chapel of Darby Funeral Home. Chris Collett will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in Ms. Dalton's name to Meals on Wheels.

In her memory, may the legacy of her kindness, her laughter and family devotion continue to inspire all who knew her.
