Francis Wayne Marion passed away unexpectedly on Sunday October 12, 2014 at Northside Hospital-Cherokee in Canton, Georgia. He was 63 years old.

Francis was born on December 20, 1950 in Woodland, California to Lee and Mollie (Washburn) Marion. He attended Beamer Elementary, Lee Jr. High and Woodland High School. In his younger years, Francis worked at the State Theatre, Woodland Florist and JC Penney. He started at Mobil Chemical in the 70's and worked there 20 years until they closed. Francis then worked for GENCO Returns, which later took him to Georgia. For the past 12 years he worked for Regal Lager, Inc. in Kennesaw, Georgia and loved his job. Francis enjoyed taking road trips with his wife Betty and tending to his garden at home. He had a long time love of motorcycles, and loved riding his motorcycle with his buddy and co-pilot, grandson Nathan.

Francis leaves behind his wife of 37 years Betty, daughter Bethany (Guy) Malcolm and their children Allison, Cassidy and Kimberlee, daughter Amy (Thomas) Schenderlein II and their children Nathan and Summer, son Francis Michael Marion and step-son Jason Antonovich. Francis is also survived by his mother Mollie Marion, sisters Shirley Medlin and Kathy Meredith, brothers Ivan Marion and Jim Hawley. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Lee and brothers Jim, Jack and Danny.

Francis was a loving husband, father and papa. He was most proud of his five grandchildren and loved them dearly. He will be greatly missed by his family.
