Rev. Franklin D.  Watkins, 76 of Ball Ground, GA passed away  Friday May 13, 2011 at Northside Hospital Cherokee.  Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Monday May 16, from the Darby Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Troy Milford and Rev. James McGaha officiating.  Interment will follow in the Chalcedonia Baptist Church Cemetery.  Family will receive friends on Saturday from 4-8 PM & Sunday from 1PM-8 PM.  Survivors include  Son & daughter-in-law, Robert & Bonnie Watkins, Ball Ground, GA; Brother, Arter Watkins Cumming ; 3 Grandchildren, Lauren Watkins, Wesley Watkins, Catherine Watkins, Ball Ground.  The family request that in lieu of flowers that donations may be made to Chalcedonia Baptist church Building Fund .  Condolences may be left for the family at www.darbyfuneralhome.com .  The caring staff of Darby Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
