Gary Lee Waters's Obituary
Gary Lee Waters, age 73 of Centre, Alabama, passed away on Saturday, February 19, 2022, at his residence in Centre, Alabama.
The family will receive friends at Darby Funeral Home on Sunday, February 20, 2022, from 6:00pm to 9:00pm. and Monday, February 21, 2022, from 3:00pm to 8:00pm. A funeral service in honor and celebration of the life of Mr. Waters will be held at 4:00pm on Tuesday, February 22, 2022, in the chapel of Darby Funeral Home. Rev. Vernie Worley will officiate. Interment will follow at Collett Family Cemetery in Canton, Georgia where Rev. Ricky Collett will officiate.
Mr. Waters was preceded in death by siblings, Betty James, Alvin "Frog" Waters, Jackie Waters, and Stanley Waters.
Mr. Waters is survived by his loving wife, Glenda Waters, daughter, Cindy (Javari) Taylor of Douglasville, Georgia, grandchildren, Marcus Irick, Maris Irick, Deya Irick, Jordan Taylor, and Javon Taylor; brothers, Hugh (Frances) Waters of Woodstock, Georgia, Elvis (Jackie) Waters) of Canton, Georgia; sisters, Sue Piper of Woodstock, Georgia, Jean Sims of Dawsonville, Georgia, Brenda Beavers of Canton, Georgia,
