George John Marcinko Jr., age 68 of Canton passed away on February 20, 2014 at Northside Hospital-Cherokee. No public visitation services are scheduled at this time. A Memorial Service will be held on March 1, 2014 at Darby Funeral Home at 4:00 PM. Reverend Jerry Potts will be officiating. He is survived by Wife, Patricia Marcinko of Canton, GA; Mother, Jean Marcinko-Ross of Marietta, GA; Son, John Scott Marcinko of Jasper, GA; Daughter, Kristen Marcinko-Standberg of Kennesaw, GA; two brothers; two sisters; also four Grandchildren. The family asks that donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project. Darby Funeral Home is in charge of these funeral arrangements.
