George "Gil" Gilbert Wood, Jr., age 80 of Canton, passed away on Thursday, May 20,2021. Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM Thursday June 3rd from the Chapel of Darby Funeral Home with the interment with military honors following at 10:00AM Friday June 4th at Georgia National Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00PM - 8:00PM Wednesday June 2, 2021. Reverend Chaz Childers will officiate. He was preceded in death by his son, Bradley Wood and sister Meredith Wood Smith. He is survived by:
