Obituary
Gerald Lyle "Jay" Voss, 63 of Ball Ground, passed away Thursday, December 28, 2023, at Roswell Nursing and Rehab. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, January 9th at 2pm at Georgia National Cemetery with Rev. Nathan Brandon officiating. He is survived by:
Wife - Dianne Voss of Ball Ground
Son - Adam (Aya) Voss of Chicago, Il.
Son - Eric (Katie) Voss of Houston, TX.
Brother - Donald Voss of Maine
Brother - William "Bill" Voss of Long Island, NY.
Sister - Virginia Ziff of Coral Springs, FL.
Grandchildren - Baroness Voss, Mylo Voss
Mr. Voss retired from the United States Marine Corp as an E-7 Gunnery SGT after 21 years of faithful service.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Marine Corp. Heritage Foundation, 1775 Semper Fidelis Way, Triangle, VA. 22172.
