Geraldine "Gerri" Patrick
Geraldine "Gerri" Patrick, born in Reno Nevada, but a beloved longtime Georgian, passed away
surrounded by her adoring family. She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Arthur and
Jerry Wilson, siblings, Bonnie Wilson, Janet L. Clark-Rebideaux, and Fred Wilson, and devoted
husband, Dave Patrick.
Together, she and Dave shared a life filled with art, travel, and adventure—skiing down snowy
slopes, golfing and playing tennis under wide blue skies, and exploring the beauty of history and
culture around the world.
Gerri leaves behind her cherished children, Ted Rupley, Joe Rupley (Gina), and Elizabeth
Galloway (Brian); her grandchildren, Annie Stegg Gerard (Justin), Nick Stegg, Lauren Loggins
(Keith), Jonathan Galloway, Jerrett Rupley, Jayna Rupley, Jack Rupley, and Amelia Rupley;
and two great-grandchildren, Nikolas and Arthur Gerard, who will carry her memory forward with
love.
A gifted artist, Gerri painted landscapes that captivated and entranced—moody monochromes
that stirred the soul and vibrant seascapes so real you could almost taste the salty waves and
feel the whip of the wind. Her art reflected not only her talent but her way of seeing the world:
deeply, beautifully, and with wonder.
But beyond her artistic gifts, Gerri will be remembered most for her heart. She was loving,
accepting, and kind, treating everyone she met with dignity and respect. Her warm spirit
fostered deep friendships, and her and Dave cherished their church family.
Parkinson's may have taken much, but it could never diminish the light she brought to those
who knew her. While her loss is deeply felt, there is comfort in knowing she is free from
suffering and at peace. Gerri will be missed beyond measure, yet her memory—like her art—will
live on in the hearts and souls of those she touched.
