Grady Franklin Puckett, age 78, of Waleska, GA., passed away July 19, 2025, at his residence.
Born July 1, 1947, he was retired from a long career at the Georgia Department of Transportation and was a member of Little Refuge Baptist Church. He enjoyed family history, fishing, auto-racing, beekeeping, and his apple orchard. Most of all he enjoyed working on the old family farm he grew up on and lived his entire life.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, Roy and Elsie (Nealey) Puckett; brother Garry Puckett; daughter Stephanie Diane Puckett.
Survivors include:
Wife and best friend of 57 years, Joy Diane (Cowart) Puckett of Waleska, GA.
Son - Matt (Karen) Puckett of Holly Springs, GA.
Daughter - Ann Anderson of Waleska, GA.
Sister - Mary Alice (Puckett) Jones of Waleska, GA.
Grandchildren - Carolyn Puckett, Margaret Puckett, Alice Puckett
Nephew - Greg (Kristin) Puckett
Niece - Amy (Puckett) McGee
Niece - Jennifer D. Jones
