Grant Thomas Griffin, age 57 of Mableton, passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2020 at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital. He will be interred at Arbor Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Canton, Ga.
Grant was born in Atlanta, Ga. He loved the Lord, his country, UGA Athletics, Freedom, and Southern Gospel Music. He was a member of Riverdale Baptist Church in Canton, Ga. He worked for and retired from the State of Georgia Insurance Commissioner's Office. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold T. Griffin and Barbara Griffin Blanton. He is survived by:
Step-Father - Dewey Blanton of Canton, Ga.
Step-Sister - Michelle (Josh) Cox of Smyrna, Ga.
A host of cousins and friends from Pebblebrook High School.
The caring staff of Darby Funeral Home is honored to serve the Griffin family.
