Guy Robert Sherwood, born March 12, 1949, passed away in the comfort of his home Sept 1, 2022 held by his family. He is survived by his wife of 8 years Kathy Vargulic, his son Matt (Angie) Sherwood, his daughter Megan (Casey) Plante and his grandchildren Leah, Evan, Chloe, Asher and Esme.

Guy will always be remembered for his calming and kind presence. It is a legacy that permeated his life in the way he raised his children, in his relationships with those that surrounded him and in his work as a medical physicist.

A private celebration of life will be held in remembrance of him at a later date. We are thankful for the continued support of our family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to foundations supporting cancer research and education of women in science.
