Gwendolyn Gibbs, 82 of Canton, GA passed away Thursday July 26, 2012 at her residence. Funeral services are scheduled for 12:00 noon Saturday July 28, from the Darby Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Richie Gibbs officiating. Interment will follow in the Macedonia Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Friday from 12:00 noon till 9:00 pm. Survivors include, Son, Phil Gibbs, Canton, GA; Daughter-in-law, Debbie Gibbs, Canton, GA; Deborah Gibbs, Canton, GA; 2 Grandchildren, Tommy Gibbs, Canton, GA; Michael Gibbs, Canton, GA. Ms. Gibbs was preceded in death by her husband, W.C. Gibbs, Parents, Johnny & Mattie Lee Hurt, Sons, Lloyd Gibbs & Johnny Gibbs. The caring staff of Darby Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
