Mr. Harry Lane White, 91 of Canton, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, September 14, 2023, at his residence.

The family will receive friends at Darby Funeral Home on Saturday, September 16, 2023, from 4:00pm to 8:00pm, and on Sunday, September 17, 2023, from 2:00pm to 6:00pm. Funeral services in honor and celebration of Mr. White's life will take place on Monday, September 18, 2023, at 2:00pm at Orange United Methodist Church. Rev. Greg Burgner and Rev. Gerald Carnes will officiate. Interment will follow in the Orange United Methodist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jason Mathews, Tyler Wise, Daniel Wise, Jared Wise, Will Roper, Campbell Hogan, Anthony Gaddis, and Bryce Norsworthy.

Mr. White was preceded in death by his daughter, Cynthia Dong. He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia White of Canton; daughters, Christy (Barry) Roper of Canton, and Elizabeth (Carlos) Clark of Canton; grandchildren, Jason Mathews, Jana Earnhardt-McClain, Tyler Wise, Daniel Wise, Jared Wise, Rachel Roper, and Will Roper; and great-grandchildren, Michael Mathews, Alice Mathews, and Dexter Wise.

In lieu of flowers, the requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Mr. White's memory.
