Helen Stancil Lanier , age 88, of Ball Ground,  GA  died on Friday April 2, 2010 at Embracing Arms Hospice.  Funeral Services are scheduled  for  2:00 P.m.  Monday April 5, 2010 from the Chapel of Darby Huey Funeral  Home with Rev. Ken May officiating.  Burial will be in Cherokee Memorial  Park.  Family will receive friends on Saturday 10 AM – 8 PM and  Sunday  4PM – 8 PM.  Survivors are Daughters and Sons-in-law, Carolyn Stancil Manous  Voyles & James,  Jasper, GA;  Kathy Stancil  Whitehead & Clint,  Ball Ground, GA;  Jane Stancil McLendon, Ball Ground, GA;   Brother,  Luther Mitchell, Jasper, GA;  and  Sister,   Doris  Mitchell Bradley, Tucker, GA.  Six Grandchildren and 10 Great-Grandchildren also survive.  She was preceded in death by her sister, Lora Mae Mitchell.
