Grady Higgins, age 92 of Rome, GA formerly of Marietta, GA passed away Sunday August 24, 2014 at Tranquility Hospice in Kennesaw, GA. Visitation for the Higgins family will be Saturday, September 6, 2014 from 1-2 PM at EAA Campground. A Memorial Service with military honors will be held Saturday September 6, 2014 at 2 PM from the EAA Chapter 709 Facilities Campground with Reverend Horace Stewart officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Knoll Memorial Garden Cemetery. Mr. Higgins is survived by his son; Henry "Hank" (Marilyn) Higgins,III , grandchildren; Anita Higgins, Christian Higgins, Carey Higgins, Katie Higgins, John Rhodes Jr, Jason Rhodes, Jody Rhodes, 10 great grandchildren and a host of great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by Wife Katie Higgins, Daughter Elaine Higgins, and Grandson Jamie Rhodes.
