Henry Owen Jernigan, 84 of Canton, GA born in Sanford, FL passed away Friday February 10, 2012 at Canton Nursing Center.  Memorial services are scheduled for 5:30pm Saturday February 18, from the Darby Funeral Home Chapel with Father Jamie Stutler officiating.  Family will receive friends immediately following the service.  Survivors include Wife, Jane Jernigan, Canton, GA; Sons & Daughters-in-law, Dr. Chris & Julie Jernigan, Canton, GA; Robert & Susan Jernigan, Los Angeles, CA; Mark Jernigan, Miami Beach, FL; 7 Grandchildren also survive.  Mr. Jernigan grew up in Memphis, TN, graduated from the University of Tennessee.  He was a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon, Vice President of Crawford & Company before his retirement.  The family would like to thank Canton Nursing Center for the care and compassion shown.  The family request that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to Canton Nursing Center 321 Hospital Rd., Canton, GA 30114.  The caring staff of Darby Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
