Hillie DeWitt Davis, 92 formally of Valdosta, GA passed away Friday July 27, 2012 at Northside Hospital Cherokee. Funeral services are scheduled for 6:00 pm Sunday July 29, from the New Covenant Bible Church with Rev. Rob Murphy and Rev. Jeremy Gwaltney officiating. Private family burial will take place in the Christian Hill Cemetery in Midland, AL. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 5-8 pm. Survivors include, Son & Daughter-in-law, Dr. Harry (Catherine) Davis, Canton, GA; Daughters & Son-in-law, Faye Davis Milner, Tallahassee, FL; Edith Davis (Paul) Gwaltney, Biltmore Lake, NC; Son-in-law, Dr. Manuel Cuesta, Waycross, GA; 8 Grandchildren, 10 Great Grandchildren. Mr. Davis was preceded in death by Wife, Edna Long Davis, Daughter, Hillie Sue Davis Cuesta. The family request that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the, Cal Farley Boys Ranch, 600 SW 11th Avenue, Amarillo, TX 79101.
