Howard Clinton Peterson, age 90 of Ball Ground, GA, passed away on January 29, 2015 at Northside Hospital Cherokee. Visitation services for Mr. Peterson will begin on Saturday, January 31, 2015 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM. The funeral service will take place on Sunday, February 1, 2015 at 2 PM from the Chapel of Darby Funeral Home. Reverend Floyd Tenney will be officiating. Interment will follow at Cherokee Memorial Park. He is survived by daughter Wanda Roach of Canton, GA; son and daughter in law Jerry and Angie Peterson of Tucker, GA; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Sylvia Harmon-Peterson and daughter Lynn Stovall. Flowers are being accepted at this time, or donations may be made to Canton First United Methodist Church.
