Hoyt Lee Rogers, age 83 of Ball Ground, passed away on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at Piedmont Mountainside Hospital. The family will receive friends at Darby Funeral Home on Friday, October 29th from 4-8pm. The funeral will be on Saturday, October 30th at 2pm at Orange United Methodist Church with Rev. Nathaniel Long officiating. Interment will follow at Georgia National Cemetery on Tuesday, November 16th at 10am. He is survived by:

Son - Stephen Michael (Susan Bishop) Rogers of Canton
Son - Clifford (Robin) Twyman of Dawsonville
Son - Robert (Cherilyn) Twyman of Acworth
Daughter - Shelley (Michael) McDonald of Santa Rosa Beach, FL.
Sister - Mary Lou Norman of Rockwall, TX.
10 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews also survive.
