J. Hines Manous, 87 of Canton, GA., passed away peacefully on Monday, February 10, 2025, at his residence.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 12th from 10am - 2pm at Darby Funeral Home. The funeral will follow at 2pm in the chapel of Darby Funeral Home with Mr. Randy Long, Mr. Brady Bagwell, and Mr. Hugh Beavers officiating. A private interment will follow at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Susan Manous, his son, Michael Manous, his parents, Dewey and Kristeen Manous, and his brothers, Buren and Bobby Manous.
He is survived by:
Wife of 64 years - Sarah Manous of Canton, GA.
Sister - Clara Phillips of Ball Ground, GA.
Sister - Mary Jean West of Canton, GA.
Several nieces and nephews and Brittany Faith also survive.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Philadelphia Baptist Church in Canton, GA. in his memory.
