Jack Ambrose Hale, Jr., age 79, of Canton passed away peacefully at home on November 5, 2024.
Jack attended Florida State University and graduated from Emory University Dental School. Upon graduation, he served as an officer in the United States Navy for 2 years. After his discharge, he located with his family to Canton, Georgia. He served as a community dentist for more than two decades. He loved his patients in the community and never forgot his patients or the services that he provided to them.
Jack is survived by his wife of 54 years, Mary Elizabeth Hale, daughter Jennifer Stanley and her husband Scott and son, Michael Hale and his wife Luisa. Other survivors include four grandchildren, Ellie Stanley, Wright Stanley, Lucy Hale and Sam Hale.
Jack was preceded in death by his father Jack Ambrose Hale, Sr., mother Helen Hale and sister Rosemary Tessmer.
Funeral services will be held at the Georgia National Cemetery on Thursday, November 14, 2024, at 2:30 p.m. Visitation will be on Thursday, November 14, 2024, from 11 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Darby Funeral Home in Canton, Georgia.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ed Towers Community Fund at Canton First Methodist Church.
