James "Jim" Albert Love
December 5, 1935 – April 11, 2025

James "Jim" Albert Love, age 89, of Canton, Georgia, passed away peacefully on April 11, 2025.

Jim was born on December 5, 1935, in Amsterdam, New York, to Laura Wheelock Love and James Adnah Love. A proud patriot, Jim served his country in the United States Air Force and will be laid to rest with military honors.

Throughout his life, Jim wore many hats. He was a trick horse rider, a skilled truck driver, and a man who lived with a spirit of independence and adventure.

He is survived by his loving wife, Shirley Love of Canton, GA; his son, James Edward Love of New York; his daughter, Scherrie Edwards of New York; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A graveside service with Air Force honors will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, April 17, 2025, at the Georgia National Cemetery. Reverend Steve Lyle will officiate.

Jim will be remembered for his strength, his stories, and the trail he blazed through life.
