Obituary
James Lucian Baker, 74 of Canton, passed away Thursday, June 1, 2023. Visitation will be Sunday, June 18th from 1-2pm at Darby Funeral Home. The memorial service will be at 2pm in the chapel of Darby Funeral Home.
Mr. Baker was a retired Special Agent In Charge with the Georgia Bureau of Investigations. After retirement, he was a private investigator.
He is survived by his loving wife, Jennifer Baker of Canton; son, James Christopher (Ashley) Baker of El Paso TX; daughter, Shelley Landen of Hemet, CA; brother, Kenneth (Diane) Baker of Cayce, SC; sisters, Diane Baker of Columbia, SC, Denise (Bruce) Hammett of Lexington, SC, and Cheryl (Steve) Whetstone of Macon; grandchildren, Hunter Morgan, Noah Landen, Mason Landen, Skylar Landen and Lucas Baker; and great-grandchildren, Charlotte Morgan, and Felicity Morgan.
The caring staff of Darby Funeral Home is honored to serve the Baker family.
