Obituary

James L. Berry (Jim) -beloved husband, father and friend-passed away unexpectedly June 18, 2024. He was 69 years old.

Born in Exeter, New Hampshire, Jim grew up in Hampton, NH. He occasionally helped in the family business (Marelli's Market). He attended local schools and graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 1976.

Jim was the cherished husband of Cindy Berry for 45 years. Together they built a life filled with love, laughter, and memories. He was the proud father of Rebecca and Jonathan. They were truly the light of his life. Jim's love for his family extended to his Boston Terrier, Captain. Their bond was a testament to his caring nature.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents William and Frances Berry, brother Dennis and niece Jessica.

A true sports enthusiast, Jim was an avid supporter of the Tampa Bay Lightning, the Atlanta Falcons, and Nascar Racing. He enjoyed countless hours cheering on his teams and swapping stories with others.

In 2020, Jim retired from CVS Health after 40 years of service in various capacities. He was known for his strong work ethic and unwavering support of his colleagues. He was proud of the accomplishments of those he mentored over the years.

Home projects, woodworking, travel, brewing beer, and grilling were some of Jim's hobbies.

Survivors include wife Cindy of Canton, GA; daughter Rebecca Berry of Woodstock, GA; son Jonathan Berry(fiancée Caitlin Turpin) of Mansfield, MA; in-laws Moddy and Daphney Fletcher of Greenland, NH as well as many other family and friends.
