James "Jim" Boring Wilkie's Obituary
Mr. James "Jim" Boring Wilkie, age 88 of Ball Ground, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, April 28, 2022.
The family will receive friends at on Saturday, April 30, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Sunday, May 1, 2022, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, May 1, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Ball Ground Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Evan Howell and Rev. Jeffrey Hooper will officiate.
Mr. Wilkie was preceded in death by his son, James Steve Wilkie.
He is survived by his loving wife, Charlcy Wilkie of Ball Ground; Son, Tony (Jenny) Wilkie; Grandchildren, Brandi (Jorge) Saravia, Shannon Wilkie; Great-Granddaughter, Rheya Saravia.
Mr. Wilkie was a U.S. Army Veteran, a member of the Ball Ground Lions Club since 1962, and a deacon at Ball Ground Baptist Church for over 50 years.
The caring staff of Darby Funeral Home is honored to serve the Wilkie family.
